We arrived in Tulsa Oklahoma tonight, staying at a Super 8 motel - after driving 1,000 kms and 9 hours. What a treat to be able to walk to the restaurant (Ruby Tuesdays) in 60 degree weather wearing just a light jacket and the sun shining at 8 pm!! We had such a great pasta meal with a very interesting and fresh salad bar.
The countryside and scenery was beautiful. We didn't stop at any of our regular spots because we thought we would wait to see what the house looked like in Arizona and besides, we are going to travel to such awesome spots like Wyoming, South Dakota and Montana on our way home. I'm sure there are lots of shops along the way.
Anyway, 'till tomorrow....................
