What a day! We travelled through the rest of Oregon, through a little bit of Washington State, a bit of Idaho then into Montana. The terrain is so beautiful and so different. For awhile we were driving through beautiful mountainous terrain, then flat farmland then all of a sudden we ran into more mountains with snow on the mountains - a LOT of snow!! I thought we were in Canada for awhile.
I've not been able to read or rest while driving.................as there is just too much to see and enjoy (such a problem)! We are so lucky and grateful to be able to take advantage of this trip - what an experience!
Obviously Bob is a much better driver than I am because when he drives, there is no one who 'helps' him drive but when I am driving, I seem to need a LOT of help (lol).
We are staying at the C'mon Inn at Missoula, Montana. It is a Lodge - almost reminds me of the Great Wolfe Lodge in Ontario. Something must be going on in this town as we got one of the last rooms available.
Tomorrow we are on to Cowboy country, so that shold be interesting.
